Readjustment Counselor Elko NevadaAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking a compassionate and experienced Readjustment Counselor to provide trauma-informed mental health services to Veterans Active-Duty Service Members and their families in Elko Nevada. This role is ideal for a licensed mental health professional who is passionate about helping service members successfully transition and reintegrate into civilian life.What Youll DoAs a Readjustment Counselor you will:Provide individual couples family and group counselingSupport clients experiencing combat trauma military sexual trauma (MST) PTSD life transitions and substance-related concernsDevelop treatment/service plans and conduct clinical risk assessmentsMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (DAP format)Coordinate with the VA on client progress and crisis reporting when necessaryParticipate in supervision/clinical collaboration with Vet Center leadershipWhat Were Looking ForYou must be licensed in the State of Nevada as one of the following:Psychologist (PsyD / PhD)Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW / MSW)Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT / MA/MS)Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPC/LCPC / MA/MS/EdD)Required:Minimum 3 years of post-graduate counseling experienceExperience with trauma-informed care and crisis interventionAbility to maintain compliance with HIPAA and VA recordkeeping requirementsAbility to work independently and manage a clinical caseloadWhy This Work MattersYour work will directly impact the emotional psychological and social well-being of Veterans and military families.
