Real World Data Intern (Graduate Level) at Alexion

We are looking for graduate students majoring in Epidemiology Biostatistics Public Health Computer Science Data Science or a related field for a 12-week internship role within our Alexion - AstraZeneca Rare Disease division in Wilmington DE from May 18 2026 to August 7 2026.Position Description:Assist with data cleaning and data management of various types of data such as survey registry and claims/EHR dataExecute the statistical analysis of assigned projects based on RWE statistical analysis planBuild data models and dashboards using data visualization toolsPosition Requirements:Graduate students majoring in Epidemiology Biostatistics Public Health Computer Science Data Science or a related field.Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2026.Proficiency in R SQL or Python is requiredExperience working with large and complex real-world data such as survey registry claims or electronic health records requiredEnthusiasm for collaboration cross-functional projects public speaking and presentation design.Understanding of MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) is required.US Work Authorization is required at time of application.Ability to report onsite to Wilmington DE 3-5 days per week.
