Job Description
Serves as primary receiving clerk or distribution clerk, responsible for intake of raw material, finished goods, and packages for assembly plant. This person is skilled in all aspects of the Material Handling department loading/unloading and receiving processes.
Shift: A Shift Mon-Thu 5am-3:30pm
Responsibilities
Provide operational support services and sometimes act as a lead of a transactional operations area.Operate complex machines and systems, adjusting processes to optimize quality and productivity. Also responsible for generating solutions t complex inefficiencies.Contribute data and information to production plans. Run reports, check accuracy, and distribute information.Help to install complex systems and conduct inspections of equipment with guidance.Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance routines.Determines daily priorities and plans/adjusts activities to meet goals.Communicate schedule and productivity goals to team. Reallocates laborer needs.Follow the organization's EHS policies, procedures and mandatory instructions; to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the wellbeing of oneself and others in the workplaceInstruct the team in safe working methods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the team and take appropriate action, escalating serious issues as appropriate.Implement corrective actions or continuous improvement initiatives and monitoring them to make sure they are effective.Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred.Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, analytical, conflict resolution, time management, and communication skills required.Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems (7 to 12 months)What We Offer
