Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP one of the worlds leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce law and government across North America Asia Europe and the Middle East is seeking to hire a Receptionist. Reporting to the Administrative Support Manager this position supports working under general supervision and is responsible for responding to requests for general Firm information.This position will reside in our New York office and will be onsite five (5) days per week.Key responsibilities include:Answers and directs all incoming calls (internal and external) by operating a multiple line switchboardAscertains appropriate resources when callers contact person is unavailableProvides assistance when caller has limited informationGreets visitors maintain visitors log and assists clientsEnsures reception area is well maintained and has a professional appearanceReports general maintenance issues to the appropriate office or building services personnelPossesses knowledge and understanding of current Firm procedures regarding documents served by the Courts and handles appropriatelyProvides a variety of administrative and clerical duties as necessaryReserves visitor offices and conference roomsWorks directly with firm IT and multimedia teams internal catering department internal and external clientsExperience and qualifications: High School diploma or equivalency minimum of (5) years of work experienceAt least (1) year of receptionist experienceStrong commitment to excellent client serviceStrong understanding and experience with Outlook and Microsoft WordAbility to adapt to change and balance competing demandsStrong planning/organizational skillsAble to resolve and/or escalate issuesStrong attention to detailTeam PlayerFlexibility to work overtime is required.Qualified candidates must apply online by visiting our website at and selecting Careers.For positions in New York the salary range for this job posting is $57900.00 - $92550.00.The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors including but not limited to prior experience relevant expertise current business needs and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
