Mark Twain Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time RECOVERY TECHNICIAN on the DayShift in our HANNIBAL MISSOURI - COMMUNICATIONS DRIVE location. We offer a supportive culture of appreciation and a strong emphasis on the health and well-being of our team.ResponsibilitiesAdhere to all client rights, including confidentialityDisplay appropriate ethical boundaries with consumers at all timesBehave in a professional and courteous manner with co-workers, supervisory staff, community members, as well as consumers and their familiesMeet all applicable Mark Twain Behavioral Health standards; as well as, state and CARF regulationsDocument various client related activities in a timely manner ensuring documentation iswell written, professional, and accurateConduct intake/discharge process for persons entering/leaving the MTBH Recovery programsOrient consumers to the program they are enteringConduct assessments for consumers admitted to Withdrawal Management and Crisis Stabilization programsMonitor and document in consumer records in accordance with tasks performed or behavior observed while engaged in an agency activity or on agency property to ensure compliance with program and agency rulesMonitor vital signs of consumers receiving services in accordance with the Policies and Procedures of Mark Twain Behavioral HealthCollect and monitor the Consumers samples for Urine Analysis testingReport to the Recovery Technician Supervisor when rules are brokenMonitor Consumers during structured activities within the community and on MTBH propertyConduct educational groups as assigned utilizing mandatory billing regulations such as real-time billing.Have an understanding of mandatory reporting responsibilitiesMaintain clean and sanity work conditions within the agencyWork with co-staff to create a fair program staff schedule, splitting weekend and holiday responsibilities based on shift workedTransport Consumers as scheduled and assigned by the clinical team with appropriate level of consumer supervisionRecord hours worked in BambooHR Timesheet accurately upon the completion of each shiftAttend/complete various trainings as assigned and mandatory staff meetingsOther tasks as assigned by the Recovery Technician Supervisor, Program Directors, or Clinical Director of Recovery ServicesAdhere to the MTBH Ethical Code of Conduct and all policies and proceduresQualificationsHigh School Diploma/GEDExperience in the human services field preferred but not requiredCertification as Medical or Nursing Assistant preferredKnowledge of the recovery processWillingness to work flexible hours during the week, weekends, and holidaysValid Class E Chauffeurs drivers license (may attain within 30 days of hire)Knowledge, ability, and active certification to perform CPR and First Aid (may be provided)Ability to pass a Comprehensive State of Missouri Background CheckAbility to pass initial and random drug screeningsAdherence to the MTBH Ethical Code of Conduct and all policies is requiredJoin Our TeamWe offer benefit plans including health insurance with a company-paid premium for employee, Health Savings Account with annual employer contribution, 403b retirement plan with annual employer contribution; employee wellness program with financial support for a healthy lifestyle, an interest in work/life balance that includes generous amounts of paid time off plus 11 paid holidays each year, educational funds and time allowance for professional development, amazing teammates, a strong emphasis on health and wellbeing and positive work environment, celebrations of employee appreciation, focus on core company values of compassion, excellence, innovation, integrity, respect, teamwork, and wellness, with opportunities to contribute the lives of others and help people be well.Mark Twain Behavioral Health is an equal opportunity employer and does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, military status or any other characteristic protected by law in any of its services, activities, or operations.
