JOB DESCRIPTION

Recruiter Position

We are seeking a motivated Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in recruiting, interviewing, checking references, and making offers. The role requires strong sourcing skills and the ability to work under immediate supervision while following pre-established guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, and check references for candidates.
  • Identify talent through strong sourcing skills.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and build plans accordingly.
  • Conduct high-volume sourcing and talent acquisition.
  • Engage in individual conversations with candidates and hiring managers to ensure alignment with hiring needs.
  • Work with both internal business side customers and candidates to facilitate the hiring process.
  • Participate in a collaborative team environment while maintaining individual desk time.
  • Share learnings and contribute to a fun and engaging team culture.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in sourcing and talent acquisition.
  • Technical recruiting experience, preferably within the tech industry.
  • Ability to thrive in a goal-driven and high-volume environment.
  • Familiarity with ATS and full-cycle recruiting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with technical SDE recruiting is preferred.
  • Ability to perform Boolean searches and cold calling.
  • Experience with scheduling phone screens and conducting in-person interviews.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Work Environment

The work environment is collaborative, with opportunities for individual desk time and engaging team activities. The role involves a mix of virtual and in-person interactions, with a focus on developing and hiring the best. Training and ramp-up time is approximately 45 days, with opportunities for extension and conversion based on performance. The team values learning, curiosity, ownership, bias for action, and delivering results.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Herndon, VA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
