The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Newaygo seeking Recruiters who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Source and recruit qualified candidates for a range of manufacturing roles including production skilled trades engineering and supervisory positions. Partner with manufacturing hiring managers to understand departmental needs job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from requisition creation and candidate screening to offer negotiation and onboarding coordination. Conduct thorough interviews and assessments evaluating candidates' technical skills experience and cultural fit within a manufacturing environment. Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions. Utilize diverse sourcing channels including job boards professional networks trade schools and local community outreach to attract top talent. Ensure compliance with all federal state and local employment laws as well as company policies and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing operations. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience recruiting for diverse roles within manufacturing (e.g. production engineering skilled trades). Familiarity with manufacturing processes terminology and technical role requirements. Proficiency in sourcing strategies and utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills including evaluating technical competencies. Understanding of local labor markets and talent pools relevant to the manufacturing industry.
