Recruiter & Onboarding Liaison at The Staff Pad

Location: Helena, MT
The Staff Pad has partnered with a hospital in Helena, Montana to hire a Support Services Recruiter & Provider Onboarding Liaison. This dual-role position supports both Talent Acquisition and Provider Relations by managing recruiting activities and coordinating a seamless, welcoming onboarding experience for newly hired providers.
This role partners closely with leadership, candidates, providers, and the People Team to deliver a people-centered recruitment and onboarding experience aligned with organizational values. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-focused, and skilled at managing multiple priorities while delivering an exceptional candidate and provider experience from first contact through successful integration.
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
Manage sourcing, screening, and selection processes for assigned roles
Partner with leaders to assess candidate qualifications, behaviors, and cultural alignment
Develop and maintain talent pipelines through schools, career events, community partnerships, and online platforms
Ensure job postings are clear, compelling, and aligned with hiring needs
Serve as a liaison throughout interviews, offers, and hiring decisions
Support temporary staffing coordination as needed
Contribute to recruitment strategies that improve hiring outcomes and reduce reliance on external staffing
Provider Onboarding & Liaison Support
Coordinate onboarding for newly hired providers, ensuring a smooth and organized transition
Facilitate pre-employment requirements, orientation schedules, and key connection points
Communicate effectively with providers regarding onboarding steps, relocation support, and available resources
Anticipate provider and family needs to deliver a positive, supportive onboarding experience
Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to ensure alignment and continuity
1+ year of recruiting experience in a healthcare setting or 2+ years of general recruiting experience
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to coordinate and facilitate interviews, prescreens, and presentations
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Proficiency with general computer systems and administrative processes
High level of professionalism and ability to represent the organization to external candidates
SHRM or aPHR certification
