This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers as well as administrative support to the Recruitment and Employment Services team.Duties and Responsibilities:This position works closely with the HR Onboard Specialists and Recruitment Specialists by:- Providing assistance with the recruitment process to internal and external customers via phone email and in person- Assisting applicants with the online application process- Supporting special Recruitment and Employment Services Team projects initiatives and events such as Connections Day Job Fairs etc.- Providing additional general administrative and clerical support for other HR functions on an as needed basis- Tracking reference letters that are received scanning them and following up on references that are not received- Running reports in a timely manner and ensuring data is accurate- Scanning documents into an electronic filing systemQualifications:The successful candidate must have:- Demonstrated excellent administrative practices and procedures- Strong interpersonal skills customer service experience and the proven ability to build strong working relationships - Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy- Qualities such as professionalism and adaptability- The ability to organize prioritize and multi-task- Demonstrated typing and data entry skills and computer knowledge in a Windows based environment preferably Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint- The ability to work independently and as part of a team- The ability to manage confidential and sensitive informationAdditional Posting Information:Conditions of Employment:Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.This is a part-time wage position working up to an average of 29 hours per week over the course of a calendar year with no benefits.E-Verify Notice: After accepting employment new hires are required to complete an I-9 form and present documentation of their identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
