This is a chance to significantly influence the efficiency of our trading.Qualifications & Skills:5+ years of professional experience with financial reference data managementDeep understanding of operational concerns around reference data management, including corporate actions and reconciliationProficient in Python for data manipulation and automationExperience with relational databases for data storage and retrievalStrong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholdersCritical thinker who takes ownership of projects and is comfortable challenging consensusWhat you’ll be working on:Participate in the design, development, and upkeep of reference data systemsSupport the introduction of new markets and products through data collection, implementation, testing, and system upgradesManage the acquisition and oversight of trading data from exchangesUtilize domain-specific expertise to maintain the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reference dataTake ownership and proactively propose enhancements for the reference data infrastructureSimplify the request process for new market and product inclusionsImplement comprehensive automation for corporate actionsAdvance the trade reconciliation processOversee data in non-PROD environments by adding UAT instruments, streamlining data sync from PROD, and resolving data issuesPrepare and manage compliance reports for orders, fills, end-of-day positions, price limits, and trading boundariesProvide high-quality data solutions efficiently, while adhering to best practicesCollaborate with DevOps and support teams on various projectsThis position encompasses the entire data lifecycle, from requirements and design to implementation and production releases. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
