Job Title:Outpatient Referral CoordinatorJob DescriptionAs a member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in coordinating referrals and patient placements for internal and external healthcare providers. Your goal will be to ensure seamless service line agreements and escalation plans are adhered to while also connecting patients with the right care teams.Key responsibilities include:Evaluating, arranging, and supporting patient transfers to UNMH and Sandoval Regional Medical Center (SRMC)Connecting external providers with UNMH on-call providers for consultations and adviceOptimizing UNMH bed management and patient placementRequired Skills and QualificationsOur ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate3 years directly related experience as a Registered Nurse in NM or with reciprocal agreementCPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider within 30 daysAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package including:$33.22-$47.33 hourly rateSign-on bonus availableRelocation assistance availableDifferential pay for weekend shiftsPhysical Conditions and Working EnvironmentThis role requires working in a hospital setting with heavy lifting and moderate exposure to chemicals/dangerous equipment/materials.
