Referral Liaison ProgressiveHealth of Indiana LLC Jasper INWe are looking for a Referral Liaison to join our team! This person will be responsible for identifying and contacting new patient referrals and scheduling initial appointments for our outpatient clinic. This is a full-time in-office position with a weekday day-shift schedule. This is also a wonderful opportunity to expand your knowledge and gain experience in the healthcare industry. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive supportive and innovative team!.What will you be doing in this roleProcessing and distributing incoming appointment referralsCoordinating with patient to schedule initial appointment within 48 hours of receiving referralWill be documenting all contact attempt and any lost referralsFollow protocol to make the minimum number of contact attempts for referrals not yet scheduledSchedule walk-up evaluations referred directly by neighboring physiciansEntering scheduled appointments in patient electronic medical records (EMR) and attaching the referral for the Patient Experience Specialist to reviewAnswering telephone and returning voicemails in a timely and professional mannerOther duties and special projects as assignedThis does not necessarily list all responsibilities duties requirements or efforts associated with the job.
