Job duties for Refrigeration Installer Technician:

• Provide support to the installation team by completing tasks safely, promptly, accurately and professionally while following customer specifications, building codes and proper piping practices
• Unload, move and set up walk-in boxes and display cases
• Install refrigeration equipment and piping per project requirements under direction of a senior technician
• Safely use hand and power tools, layout tools, vehicles, machinery and required PPE
• Promptly escalate safety or quality concerns to senior technicians or project managers
• Maintain clean, organized and professional jobsites, properly handling spare and waste materials
• Assist and support senior technician and foreman with daily tasks and project needs
• Weld and slip hose copper piping as part of construction support
• Follow all policies and procedures in place
• Completes any other related tasks as needed

Qualifications Desired Skills for Refrigeration Installer Technician:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Safely operate basic hand, power and layout tools and, preferably, scissor lifts or forklifts
• Follow jobsite safety rules, company policies, procedures and applicable state and federal laws
• Work reliably and independently by being punctual, dependable and able to function with minimal supervision
• Perform work in varied conditions including heights, extreme temperatures and noisy environments
• Use basic computer tools including email, Word and Excel
• Collaborate in a team environment and follow instructions from senior technicians
• Maintain a valid license and good driving record
