Refrigeration Technician- All Shifts (Ammonia experience needed) at JobSquad Staffing Solutions

Job Description Job Description The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Refrigeration Technicians (1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts) with ammonia experience to work at a food manufacturing company located in the Carol Stream, IL area!
Job Title Refrigeration Technician - 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts available Position Location Carol Stream, IL 60188 Pay/hours for position Starting Pay: $33.50-$37.05 per hour plus shift differential 1st shift: 4:00am-1:30pm 2nd Shift: 12:30pm-9:00pm 3rd Shift: 8:30pm 5:00am Work schedule: Monday-Friday with some overtime work on weekends needed (must be open to working Saturday/Sunday if needed). Requirements of position Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

1. Experience with troubleshooting mechanical and refrigeration system issues. Ammonia systems experience needed.
2. Has completed or is working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
3. High school diploma or equivalent.
4. Must be 18 years of age.
5. Able to read, write and speak English. Bilingual capabilities are a plus.

Responsibilities of position Job Responsibilities include:

1. Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems supporting high-volume food production
2. Perform maintenance on high-pressure boilers, air compressors, and air handlers
3. Service HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations
4. Troubleshoot mechanical and refrigeration issues to minimize downtime
5. Follow and enforce IIAR, OSHA, and plant safety procedures
6. Be able to perform work duties while not supervised and report them to their supervisor
7. Have a backround in low voltage, 480 volt electric,
8. Be able to recognize the refrigeration system is out of parameters and take corrective action to fix the issue.
