Baylor St. Lukes also has three community emergency centers offering adult and pediatric care for the Greater Houston area.Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesJoin CommonSpirit Health as our next Senior Regional Finance Executive where youll be instrumental in shaping the financial performance of our vital South this key role youll act as a senior regional finance executive partnering closely with Operations and Strategy to drive critical decision-making and performance evaluation while also responsible for tailored financial analysis to meet specific regional needs. Youll serve as the regional lead for preparing budgets and forecasts aligned with Enterprise goals and collaborate with Enterprise finance teams to ensure our region effectively leverages centralized transactional finance resources like Accounts Payable and Fixed Asset accounting.Essential Key Job ResponsibilitiesAct as strategic business partner to divisional leadership and foster close collaboration between divisional and Enterprise level finance teamsOversee development of budgets according to National targets and monitor adherenceAnalyze divisional financial performance and develop improvement plans as appropriateLeverage Enterprise level resources fully for transactional activity (e.g. accounts payable Fixed Asset and Foundation/Grant accounting payroll etc.)Ensure division complies with Enterprise established definitions and policiesEnsure data and analytic transparency on divisional performance trends and insights to appropriate Enterprise teamsMonitor adherence to budgets and division progress with respect to key Enterprise initiatives (e.g. COE Initiative etc.) Lead interactions with local Board and Board Committees on financial matterProvide high level financial input on strategic initiativesLead division finance teams when developing new programs launching initiatives planning and managing deals and/or improving services for divisional teamsProvide divisional oversight of the revenue cycle managed care supply chain FunctionsReview & monitor divisional JV arrangementsCoordinate divisional treasury Functions/requirements with National officeAct as division representative on Enterprise Finance Operations Leadership Council (FOLC)Manage direct reports including Divisional VP of Finance and Division Business Partners including hiring evaluation and coachingJob RequirementsRequired Education and ExperienceMasters degree ideally in business/financeFifteen (15) years experience preferably in healthcareRequired Minimum Knowledge Skills Abilities and TrainingStrategic mindsetDeep expertise in Financial management and AccountingExperience with performance managementUnderstanding of CHIs service linesSuperior leadership management and communication skills Ability to drive initiatives and achieve goals in a matrix environmentEffective collaboration and negotiation skills#LI-CSHRequired Experience:Chief Key Skills General Management,Access Control,Interior,Administration Support,Client Services,Computing Employment Type : Unclear Department / Functional Area: Finance Experience: years Vacancy: 1
