Every day our community of students families teachers and staff comes together to learn work and play in an environment grounded in our values of Bienestar (Well-Being) Culture of Belonging Community Partnership Agency & Self-Determination and Joy.GENERAL SUMMARY:The Regional Operations Managers is responsible for regional operational compliance charter renewals the design and execution of professional development for site-based operations teammates (Business Managers and Office Assistants) and building a community of practice among Business Managers coaching for Business Managers regional operations systems diagnosis and improvement managing and improving the year round student recruitment and enrollment processESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Charter RenewalManage charter renewal process by developing and monitoring timelines and project plansOversee implementation of charter renewal project plans collaborating with a diversity of stakeholdersContribute to developing content for renewal petition including pulling and analyzing data creating data visualizations writing leader biographies editing for grammatical accuracy clarity and coherenceStay abreast of policy changes and political context for charter renewal in the Los AngelesPartner with Executive Director on strategy development for charter renewal advocacyPartner with Executive Director and Engagement & Advocacy Assistant to ensure preparation for stellar performance at hearingsOversee organization and production of materials and partner with Executive Assistant on executionEnrollmentManage Year round student recruitment and enrollment processEnrollment timelines of the yearLiaison with district enrollment partnersSchool mint set up and liaisonProduce weekly enrollment reportAnalyze application funnelPartner with Regional Engagement and Advocacy teammates for marketing outreach and publicity.Collaborate with CV Equity Team and Pro-Black Coordinators on design and implement approach to improve enrollment of Black/African American studentsIdentify pain points in enrollment strategies and plans and redesign improved approachesOrchestrate regional supports and collaboration with school sitesBusiness Manager Support and DevelopmentBM selection coaching and supportPartnering with Business Managers and Principals collaboratively reviews monitors and improves operational systems and procedures at sitesCollaboratively participate in Operations CoP design planning and executionComplianceEnsure the organization is compliant with federal state authorizer and Aspire compliance (i.e. SARC SSC and ELAC)Manage and oversee successful completion of compliance requirements collaborating with authorizers Home Office school site leaders and Regional Team as neededDevelop timelines and project plans for complianceProvide consultation and support to site personnel as neededCollaborate with Executive Director on local grant funding opportunities and management of current ones (i.e. Measure G & Measure N)COVID containment and responseAssess and improve COVID prevention policies practices and routinesStay abreast of changes in guidance and best practices related to preventing and responding to the spread of COVIDAdvise regional and school leaders on mitigation process improvementsProvide direct consultation for site leadersIndependent Studies complianceEnsure compliance with Independent Studies hours attendance and contractsFacilities management and supportServe as liaison between school site leaders and landlords to prevent and resolve facilities concernsSupport with acquisition of services beyond the scope of building managerPartner with school site leaders on managing emergency facility mattersAdditional Demonstrate knowledge of and support the Aspire Public Schools mission vision value statementsincluding antiracism policies and procedures operating instructions confidentiality standards and thecode of ethical behavior Perform other related duties as required and assignedREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIESDemonstrated track record in seeing and dismantling racism and other forms of oppressionStrong organizational planning time management and multi-tasking skillsStrong attention to detail and communicatorStrong analytical critical thinking and problem solving skillsDemonstrated skills in identifying issues formulating and implementing solutionsUnafraid of data! Experience developing implement and refining policies and/or procedures Strong written and oral communication skills.
