JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.

The Regional Pricing Manager plays a key role in leading regional sales efforts by managing a team of Sales Support professionals, collaborating with leadership to develop strategic growth initiatives, and ensuring consistent execution of company sales policies. Bridging the gap between sales, operations, and customers-driving efficiency, profitability, and alignment with JAS's global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Foster Company Growth
  • Lead and oversee the Regional Sales Support Team to achieve company sales targets.
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Director (RSD) on strategic and tactical sales plans.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy across all products and services.
  • Represent JAS at industry conferences, networking events, and local/regional trade missions.
  • Partner with the JAS Worldwide Tender Team on RFQs, pricing, and project initiatives.
  • Provide KPI-driven analytics and reporting for sales performance and quotation activity.
  • Oversee vetting and approval processes for locally managed RFQs.
  • Ensure adherence to JAS Sales Policy and best practices.
    Sales Team Administration
    • Ensure the Regional Sales Support Team structure and coverage meet business needs.
    • Host or attend regular sales meetings to review performance, share insights, and provide training.
    • Join client visits with sales team members to support complex service offerings or demos.
    • Oversee RFI/RFQ response management and new account setup (credit/POA/checklists).
    • Support transition and implementation for new accounts, including SOP creation and QBR delivery.
    • Manage the handoff of strategic accounts into the Account Management program where applicable.
    • Act as the liaison between sales, operations, and customers to ensure seamless communication.
    • Lead customer rate card management and recurring bid processes (monthly, quarterly, annual).
    • Drive new lead generation using approved tools (e.g., Panjiva, LinkedIn, Seamless.AI).
      Supervisory Responsibilities
      • Conduct performance reviews and ongoing one-on-one meetings with direct reports.
      • Oversee hiring, mentoring, promotions, and disciplinary actions as needed.
      • Provide continuous coaching and professional development to enhance team performance.
      • Foster a collaborative and performance-driven sales culture.
        Qualifications
        • Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
        • At least 2 years in international transportation pricing or rate proposals.
        • Proven experience managing RFQs and supporting a sales team in a fast-paced environment.
        • Proficiency with CRM and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
        • Strong Excel and data analysis skills; pricing platform experience preferred.
        • Knowledge of CargoWise (C1) is a plus.
        • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
        • Highly independent, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
          Education & Experience
          • Bachelor's degree preferred.
          • Minimum 5 years in Sales or Management with demonstrated leadership, influence, and employee development skills.

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000 annually, in accordance with the California pay transparency law.
