Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob DescriptionJOB DETAILSBase Pay: $24.50 or more per hour based on experience1st Shift: Monday- Friday, 6am-2pmBenefits start day 1Weekly PayDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the creation and implementation of Sidney’s Quality Management System (QMS) through the following:Assist in integrating Cornerstone Production System (CPS) tools and terminology into local QMS documentation and practicesCoordinate and participate in QMS assessments, helping identify gaps and improvement opportunitiesMaintain and update site-specific procedures and work instructions based on assessment findings and operational needsManage document control through SharePoint, ensuring timely updates and version control of quality documentsSupport functional teams in creating and revising procedures, ensuring alignment with corporate standardsFacilitate Management of Change (MOC) documentation and tracking for new or revised processesAssist in the scheduling and execution of Layered Process Audits (LPA), including data collection and reportingPrepare for and support internal and external audits, including document retrieval and audit trail validationTrack and follow up on corrective actions resulting from audits and assessmentsParticipate in problem-solving activities using CPS tools such as Kaizen and Quick Problem Solving (QPS)Monitor and report QMS-related metrics (e.g., audit findings, document compliance, CAPA status)Conduct basic training for hourly team members on QMS procedures and document control practicesSupport quality team in maintaining compliance with ISO standards and customer-specific requirementsAssist in organizing and maintaining quality boards, visual management tools, and audit readiness materialsFlexibly support quality assurance and control activities such as product testing, disposition of nonconforming material, and pulling together quality data as neededComfortable being asked to take on a variety of tasks to support the plant’s overall success and continuous improvement effortsQualificationsMinimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferredExperience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a quality-related roleBasic understanding of quality systems and process documentationAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyWork EnvironmentAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving machineryAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for extended periods during process observationsSoft SkillsEnjoys working with diverse personality types and thrives in a highly interactive roleAble to motivate and engage others, even in challenging or fast-paced environmentsFlexible and team-oriented, with a willingness to jump in and help wherever neededStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective written and verbal communicationWillingness to learn and adapt to changing prioritiesCollaborative and approachable across departments and levelsTechnical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially SharePoint, Excel, Word)Familiarity with document control systems and audit tracking tools is a plusPreferred QualificationsAssociate’s degree in quality, Business, or related fieldExperience supporting a Quality Management System (QMS)Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, CPS)Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environmentBasic project coordination or administrative support experienceAdditional InformationSite Address: 2405 Campbell Rd.
