Department OverviewSilent Sentinel was acquired by Motorola Solutions in 2024 and is now part of its ecosystem of safety and security technologies.Silent Sentinel is a provider of specialized long-range cameras. Its rugged thermal cameras offer clear visibility in complex and extreme environments. Equipped with highly accurate detection capabilities Silent Sentinels cameras can identify anomalies from up to 20 miles away (30 km) to extend the perimeter of security and support a faster more informed response.Job DescriptionThis position is a sales-focused manager for Silent Sentinel products supporting North and South America customers as well as Motorola teams and TP representatives. You will be responsible for sales strategic account planning overall relationship management new and existing accounts developing a comprehensive sales plan and a full portfolio of solutions products.This role will contribute to the organizations growth through strategic business development activities. You will provide leadership experience teamwork and critical thinking while developing new relationships and growing existing accounts.Key Responsibilities:Lead the business development team to achieve company sales targets and objectivesDevelop and execute strategies to secure new business and expand existing accountsIdentify and cultivate relationships with large UAV manufacturers semiconductor manufacturers military end users systems integrators government labs OEMs and commercial end usersApply extensive knowledge of imaging detectors and their applications including image intensifiers CCD CMOS VoX ASi InSb and MerCadOversee application of imaging technologies in navigation surveillance machine vision traffic management industrial imaging research and science and militaryInitiate and manage business development efforts in new markets including the Middle EastLaunch and promote new product lines particularly in the infrared sector to penetrate and grow market share in industries such as oil and gasLead and manage a multidisciplinary team including contracts field service applications engineering program management and salesDrive projects from a losing profitability position to a winning position through effective leadership and strategic planningQualifications:Bachelors Degree with 4 years of sales/public safety experienceOR 8 years of sales/public safety experienceProven track record of successfully closing sales with large and diverse clients including military and commercial end usersExtensive experience in imaging technology applications and related industriesStrong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 50 membersDemonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business strategies and initiativesExcellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skillsWillingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry eventsPreferred Skills:Experience with infrared imaging technologies and productsKnowledge of the oil and gas industry and related market dynamicsPrior experience working in the Middle East marketPersonal Attributes:Highly motivated and results-orientedStrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentPassion for continuous learning and professional developmentTarget Base Salary Range: $90000 -$110000 USDConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
