Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Regional VP, Operations in the Pacific Southwest Region is a Chief Financial Officer position with Operations elements as well. This person collects, analyzes and reports on various market data to connect financial outcomes with operational effectiveness. The Regional VP, Operations requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across segments and/or enterprise-wide to develop strategies to improve outcomes that support the region's membership, medical expense, admin and margin targets.The Regional Vice President, Operations CFO will provide leadership and direction in the areas of financial planning and operations to a team of regional and national associates. This individual will provide fiscal and operational oversight of the Pacific Southwest region senior products through development and oversight of the annual budget, financial planning and projections, risk management and operational metrics and reporting while working with value-based providers, physicians, IPAs and MSO leadership. Assesses, selects, recognizes, develops, and empowers diverse talentUse your skills to make an impact Required QualificationsExperience with Medicare Advantage and Medicaid and participation in the annual bid processBachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field5 plus years of senior level operations and finance experience in the health solutions industry ideally in a CFO or COO roleBackground working with health insurance organizations, including plan operationsExperience building and leading a high performing team to support a growth marketPrior experience with CMS bid mechanics and bid toolsExperience leading teams across multiple geographic locationsKnowledge and experience working with delegated value-based relationships in the Pacific Western marketsAbility to travel a minimum of 25%Must Reside in or be willing to relocate to one of the following states: CA, AZ, CO, NV, WA, UT, ORPreferred QualificationsCertified Public AccountantMaster's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related fieldExperience working with physician groups, provider contracting, market operations, and Medicare Risk Adjustment and Stars/Quality functionsReporting RelationshipsYou will have direct/indirect reports, and you will report to the Regional President.Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.Scheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$203,400 - $279,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
