Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBenefits:Great EnvironmentPaid Sick Time401(k) matchingCompetitive salaryOpportunity for advancementTraining & developmentWe are looking for a full day and after school therapist in our centerDuties:- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions- Use positive reinforcement techniques to promote skill acquisition and behavior change- Conduct preference assessments and assist with functional behavior assessmentsSkills:- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to follow directions and implement behavior intervention plans accurately- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Patience and compassion when working with individuals with ASD- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team- Basic computer skills for data collection and reporting- RBT Certification a plusThis position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working with individuals with ASD is preferred but not required.
