Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe role of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is to assist in promoting and ensuring the delivery of high-quality behavior analytic treatment to each patient we serve. This position will work closely with the Clinical Director, ABA Program Supervisors, and ABA staff. In addition to the responsibilities and duties assigned to the RBT as a behavior technician, the RBT will be responsible for assisting the ABA Program Supervisors in training, guiding and providing oversight to Behavior Technicians (BT), as well as assisting in the development of new policies and updates to existing policies. Requirements:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE AAS Degree in Human Services or related field; Bachelors preferred Must hold and maintain current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Enrolled in a BCaBA (Bachelor’s) or BCBA (Masters) track program and pursuing BCaBA or BCBA Certification. Minimum of one-year experience in a program or setting supporting persons with developmental disabilities. Must have a valid New York State Driver’s License This position may have regular and substantial unsupervised or unrestricted physical contact with individuals receiving services and is required by law to be fingerprinted for a criminal history record check under OPWDD (Office of for People with Developmental Disabilities), OMH (Office of Mental Health), or OCFS (Office of Children and Family Services).
