As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll play a vital role in delivering personalized, evidence-based behavioral health services that empower individuals to thrive. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you'll implement treatment plans, teach essential life skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors. If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact and committed to excellence in care, we invite you to join our mission-driven team.ResponsibilitiesImplement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles under the guidance of BCBAs or BCaBAs.Assist clients in developing essential life skills and promoting independence.Collect data on client progress and behavior for ongoing assessment.Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to adjust treatment strategies as needed.Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.Adhere to the ethical guidelines of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).Attend mandatory training and continuing education opportunities.Communicate regularly with the clinical team regarding client progress and any concerns.QualificationsA high school diploma or equivalent is required.A bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field is preferred.Current RBT certification from BACB is required.Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes or other settings as required.Preferred: 1+ year experience with autism or developmental disabilities.Strong communication, patience, and adaptability.Familiarity with ABA principles and data collection methods.SkillsExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.Proficiency in assisting clients with daily living activities.Understanding of ABA terminology relevant to behavioral health settings.Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and the BACB ethical guidelines.Experience in behavioral therapy methods and interventions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Work EnvironmentThe RBT will work in the client's home setting. Expected hours: 20 25 per week. Hiring multiple applicants.
