Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBenefits:Competitive salaryHealth insurancePaid time offTraining & developmentTuition assistanceJob OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals, primarily children, on the autism spectrum, implementing behavior intervention plans designed to improve their daily living skills and overall quality of life. This role requires a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and the ability to provide patient care in a supportive environment.ResponsibilitiesImplement individualized Positive Behavior Support Plans plans under the supervision of the classroom teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Provide direct support to clients in various settings, focusing on improving social skills, communication, and daily living activities (ADLs), including toileting needs.Implement academic and communication programs under the guidance of the classroom teacher and BCBA.Assist clients with behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.Implement de-escalation strategies during crisis situations.Collect ongoing data.Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.Collaborate with teachers and colleagues to develop care plans that align with the clients needs and goals.Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to special education and applied behavior analysis.Monitor client progress and report findings to the supervising BCBA for adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.Hours follow the school calendar from 8:45 am to 3:45 pm.QualificationsCertification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.Experience working with children, particularly those on the autism spectrum, is highly desirable.Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and principles.Familiarity with patient care practices and behavior management strategies.Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding medical records and adhere to HIPAA and FERPA guidelines.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.A background in special education or related fields is a plus.Ability to move from a seated position on the floor to standing easilyAbility to run with studentsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsBenefitsCompetitive PayHealth Care ReimbursementPaid Time OffPaid TrainingsTuition Reduction with Partnering CollegesFree BCBA SupervisionJoin our team in making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with autism by providing compassionate care and support through evidence-based practices.
