Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Overview: We are seeking candidates with distinct interpersonal abilities for the position of Adaptive Skills Trainer/Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. Creativity in problem-solving and an adaptable approach to unexpected challenges are critical attributes for success in this position. Key Responsibilities:Implement adaptive skills training programs tailored to individual client needs.Utilize behavior analysis techniques to influence positive behavioral changes.Provide direct support and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).Collect and analyze data on client behavior and progress.Develop and maintain respectful rapport with clients, families, and supervisors.Offer ongoing mutual feedback and maintain a collaborative work environment.Travel to clients' homes and community settings to deliver services.Ensure timely and accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.Qualifications:Experience in home and community care, ADLs, and direct support.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation with good-standing auto insurance.Ability to pass a criminal background check (Clean DOJ/FBI record).Bachelor’s degree required.Certifications and Training:On-the-job training provided with certification opportunities.
