The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works under the close supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior-analytic services for students. The RBT supports students with behavioral, social-emotional, communication, and learning needs by providing direct 1:1 or small-group interventions within the school environment. All work follows applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and the students individualized behavior intervention plan (BIP) or IEP.Duties/Responsibilities:Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as designed by the supervising BCBA.Provide 1:1 behavior support to students in classrooms, resource rooms, specials, lunch, recess, or other school environments.Collect continuous, accurate data on student behavior, skill acquisition, and treatment fidelity.Use ABA strategies such as reinforcement, prompting, shaping, task analysis, functional communication training, and behavior reduction procedures.Support students in increasing academic engagement, communication skills, independence, and social skills.Assist with crisis prevention and de-escalation using school-approved, non-restrictive practices.Education and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required.Associates or bachelors degree preferred not required.Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), must have past the exam (not just 40 hours).Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work with students with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, emotional/behavioral disorders, and developmental delays.Comprehensive Benefits Package:Paid time off to encourage a healthy work/life balancePaid major holidaysHealth, dental and vision insurance available401K with a generous company match!Join us in shaping an inclusive world where every child's potential is unlocked, and their dreams are within reach.
