Job DescriptionJob DescriptionRegistered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician (BT)Location: New YorkJob DescriptionInsight ABA ABI is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs) to service clients across New York’s 5 boroughs, Nassau, and Suffolk. This is a per-diem position with highly flexible schedules—perfect for professionals seeking hands-on experience while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing degrees in Special Education, Speech Therapy, or Social Work, with strong growth potential across other departments at Insight ABA ABI.What We’re Looking ForIdeal candidates have experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities—particularly Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)—through:ABA schools or programsDay Habilitation/Day ProgramsResidential or Special Education settingsIf you’re passionate about working with children with special needs and interested in a career path toward becoming a Social Worker, Speech Therapist, or Special Education Teacher, this position is for you!ResponsibilitiesImplement treatment goals and protocols in homes and community settingsCollect and record data on client progress using digital tools (tablet, laptop, or phone required)Maintain accurate session notes and logsCollaborate with supervisors to ensure high-quality careComplete all required online training with a passing scoreQualifications1–2 years of prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically Autism Spectrum DisordersMust to have the 40hr Training RBT or the RBT CertificateStrong interest in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and child developmentReliable transportation to case locations across New YorkAbility to physically support and engage with young children with special needsBackground check requiredProfessional appearance and commitment to reliabilityCandidate AttributesPatient, compassionate, and professionalStrong communication and teamwork skillsReliable and punctual with consistent attendanceEnergetic, positive, and dedicated to supporting familiesBenefitsCompetitive pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hourFlexible scheduling (weekday, evening, and weekend options)Opportunities for career advancement and cross-departmental growthReferral programSupportive training and supervision from BCBA and BCaBA professionalsJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeSchedule Options: 4-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts, after school, evenings, weekdays, weekends, or flexible on-call assignmentsWork Location: In person -Homebase
