Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $15-22 hourlyPeak Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Lawton, OKand surrounding cities to provide home-based services. We are looking for someone who is positive, personable, and enjoys working with children.Peak Behavioral Health is a multidisciplinary organization that includes Psychology, ABA, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. Youll be a part of a collaborative team that provides a unified approach in helping children with autism and other disabilities. We provide personalized treatment programs and the highest care possible.Part-time positions available with the opportunity to move into a full-time position if desired.THIS JOB IS NOT FOR YOUUNLESS YOU are committed to helping kids with autismUNLESS YOU love teaching kids and watching them growUNLESS YOU are willing to learn and take feedbackUNLESS YOU can play like a child and arent afraid to be sillyUNLESS YOU dont mind having a few tough daysUNLESS YOU know how to ask for help when you need itUNLESS YOU want to fill your days with meaningQualifications:Willing to obtain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or already certified as an RBT2+ years of experience working with children, OR Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, child development, or a related field, OR a combination of experience and education.Excellent communication skills with other providers and familiesMust have great problem-solving skillsMust be highly organized and have a great eye for detailsPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbs.Physically able to play on the floor with children for long periods of time (crawl, kneel, sit, stand, and bend).Proficient in using technologyPassionate about helping children and their familiesA valid drivers licenseA reliable vehicle and up-to-date vehicle insuranceA Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) without recent or significant driving infractions. An MVR is required within the first 30 days of employment and will be conducted yearly.Must be a high school graduate over the age of 18Job DutiesAttend team meetingsThoroughly and effectively document all sessionsCollect data accuratelyMaintain all clinical records in accordance with HIPPAUtilize the feedback given during BCBA supervisions accordinglyProvide ABA therapy in individual and group settingsDiscuss interventions with parents and caregivers in a professional mannerImplement interventions as described by the BCBACommunicate effectively with everyone on your clients treatment teamWork EnvironmentThis position works in the clinic and home setting and will require some driving. This position may cause exposure to infectious diseases, blood, and bodily fluids.TravelThis position may require travel. While performing the duties of this position, the Behavior Technician travels by his or her own automobile and is exposed to changing weather conditions. The Behavior Technician must maintain personal insurance of the vehicle that they utilize during work hours.
