Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $17.50 - $22.50Position will require the ability to work in-center in Livonia, MI.Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8am 5:30pmBenefits Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT):$250 Bonus on First PaycheckCompetitive pay based on experience and educationPay increases based on work performance and further education/training accomplishmentsFlexible Part-Time and Full-Time schedules availableNo weekends401k Plan with Company MatchHealth / Dental / Vision and PTO (for eligible full-time employees)Sick TimePaid Mental Health TimeSupervision to maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and training opportunity for other related certificationsField supervision opportunities for students continuing education in ABAAbility to grow professionally in the fieldAn inclusive and rewarding work environmentMinimum RequirementsEducation:High School Diploma requiredPreferred Education: Bachelors or higher preferred in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Social Work, Health and Human Services, or relatedCertification: Active RBT Certified by BACBExperience required: Experience as Certified RBT working in the ABA field with children ages 0-16Preferred experience: Experience with autism and related disordersPhysical Requirements:Ability to kneel, squat, crawl, lift, stand and sit for extended period of time as required by therapy servicesTransportation:Must have reliable source of transportation and be willing and able to travel between different jobs throughout Wayne CountyPosition SummaryTheRegisteredBehavior Technician(RBT)will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community and school settings. TheRBT will collect data on programs, provide support with parent trainings, and assist the Behavior Analyst in the behavior assessments.Job DutiesProvide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.Follow the prescribed behavior skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as assigned.Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.Assist with parent/caregiver training in the line with client individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.Effective communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA.)Maintain a clean, safe and organized work and therapy environment.Collaborate with treatment team including clients, parents, and caregivers, outside professionals, Lead Behavior Technicians, ABA Interns, and co-workers.Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attend required trainings.Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA laws.Perform all other tasks as assigned.Worker SpecificationsAbility to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly.Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.Basic computer skills and knowledge of Outlook systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.Commitment to ongoing training and development.
