What is an RBT?A registered behavior technician supports and implements a patient care plan created by a board-certified behavior analyst. They provide ABA interventions that encourage socially acceptable replacement behaviors so clients can build and improve upon their communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills Responsibilities:· Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. · Accept and implement feedback provided by BCBA for program integrity. · Teach socially acceptable replacement behaviors. · Provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children with Autism and related disorders. · Communicate client progress with supervising BCBA. · Collect behavior data as specified in the client behavior support plan. · Implement behavior therapy techniques as instructed by the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist. · Review data and progress reports with Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist to manage program improvements. · Document interventions and progress towards goals accurately and in a timely manner. · Assists in the creation of instructional materials Looking for availability in all boroughs Requirements:Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Registered Behavior Technician certification, as evidenced by completion of the RBT training course and examination and participation in the district-provided crisis intervention training.
