Starting at $40 hourlyA Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works with clients with developmental disabilities to help them reach their full potential. Their responsibilities include: * Implementing behavior plansRBTs implement behavior plans created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help clients change their behavior and address specific challenges. * Behavior reductionRBTs use approved protocols to help clients respond more appropriately to different situations and stimuli. * Collecting dataRBTs observe clients and document their responses to different stimuli to create data for BCBAs. This data can include information about skill acquisition, targeted behaviors, and how the client responds to interventions. * CommunicatingRBTs communicate with their supervisor and BCBA/BCaBA to provide updates on client progress and challenges. They also explain treatment plans and progress to clients and their families.
