Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time position based in Baltimore, MD, for a Registered Dental Hygienist. The position involves delivering oral health services, including performing dental cleanings, conducting dental prophylaxis procedures, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Additionally, the Registered Dental Hygienist will assist in identifying and addressing issues related to periodontal disease, collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal care, and maintain thorough patient records.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Dentistry and Dental Care to analyze and effectively address patients' oral health needs
• Proficiency in performing tasks related to Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis
• Knowledge of diagnosing and recommending treatments for Periodontal Disease
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide patient education and work collaboratively with dental team members
• Current licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Maryland
• CPR certification required; additional certifications related to dental care are a plus
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with trends and advancements in dental hygiene practices
