Registered Dental Hygienist at SEWEE DENTAL CARE LLC

Sewee Dental Care in Mt. Pleasant, SC is hiring a full-time hygienist following the relocation of one of our hygienists out of state. We have two other full-time hygienists, one who has been here over 3 years and one who has been here for 30+ years! We are a two-doctor practice with an established and loyal patient base and we have been a significant part of the local dental community for 20+ years! We value common sense, non-extreme dentistry and believe that patient education is the key to a successful practice and good patient outcomes. We are truly a tight-knit group who care about each other as much as our patients. The ideal candidate for a dental hygienist will have N2O and local infiltration certifications, a good work ethic, and they must be able to educate and build trust with patients of all ages. They must also be a genuinely nice person! We can talk about dentistry all day long, but what we value most in a team member is the ability to be professional, kind, and “row the boat” in the same direction as the rest of the team. *The ideal candidate will live in Mt. Pleasant, or is willing to drive to Mt. Pleasant for their daily commute.

Job Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist

- Dental Hygiene BA or associates degree

- Active, valid license to practice

- A patient and friendly personality

- Communication skills, both in person and on the phone

- Proficient in taking dental x-rays and efficient periodontal charting

- Experience with Dentrix software is a plus!

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
