Work with a dedicated and caring organization and start doing your lifes best work.Location:Cape May NJ.Payrate:$68000-$75000 annually.Sign-on bonus:$5000.Benefits:Health insurance.Dental insurance.Vision insurance.401k11 paid federal holidays.Paid vacation.Hours:8 hours per day 5 days per week (40 hours) between the hours of 5:30am-5:00pm (excluding federal holidays).Requirements:Must possess a valid unrestricted license as a Dietitian in the state of New Jersey.Must have a BLS certification.Bachelors or masters degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from an educational institute accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) or completion of a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) accredited by the ACEND or completion of a post-baccalaureate degree Dietetic Internship Program of supervised practice (for a minimum of 1200 hours) accredited by ACEND and pass a comprehensive state licensing exam.A background in sports nutrition and/or weight management is desired.Duties:Determine optimal medical nutrition therapy utilizing a four-step nutritional care process: 1. Nutritional assessment 2. nutritional diagnosis 3. nutritional intervention and 4. nutritional monitoring and evaluation.Health assessments including nutritional history surgical history chief complaint of the patient medication and supplement use laboratory values activity level eating patterns and psychosocial issues that impact nutritional status.Provide care through evidence-based treatment plans to include follow-up and routine monitoring of compliance through metric indicators such as abdominal circumference lipid abnormalities and iron levels.Develop basic nutrition plans including individualized men plans. Calculate caloric intake and protein/carbohydrate/fat balancing.Weight control programs and counseling.Develop individualized wellness plans based on comprehensive risk-factors for weight exercise rates nutritional status and blood pressure. Conduct counseling or referrals appropriate to the patients needs.
