Our team of skilled respiratory therapists works collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care including advanced diagnostic testing therapeutic interventions and patient education. We utilize the latest technology and evidence-based practices to manage and treat a wide range of respiratory conditions ensuring our patients receive the best possible outcomes. Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977 it offers specialty services including 24-hour emergency care wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy a surgical pavilion a pain management clinic orthopedic surgery inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology including advanced CT w/cardiac scoring Fixed MRI including pacemaker cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK & elastography).Scope of workUnder minimal direction the Registered Respiratory Therapist: implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients students staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; assists with general department functions.QualificationsRequired Associates Degree Respiratory TherapyRespiratory Therapist License - State of Michigan Upon Hire requiredRespiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire requiredBasic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red CrossHow Corewell Health cares for youComprehensive benefits package to meet your financial health and work/life balance goals.
