Regulatory Compliance Analyst IV
AECOM is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst IV at the San Diego, CA office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and interpret California State regulations related to school facility funding.
- Identify and evaluate available funding opportunities.
- Prepare and submit accurate grant applications and all related documentation.
- Prepare and/or support preparation of expense reports for auditors.
- Collaborate with internal teams, attorneys, CPAs, and administrative agencies to gather required information.
- Maintain organized records of all grant-related materials.
- Work with IT staff to define data requirements and support grant tracking systems.
- Communicate clearly and effectively across departments to ensure compliance with funding guidelines.
- Understanding of financial and project management software systems.
- Familiarity with OPSC and CDE online systems.
- Knowledge of eligibility establishment and update.
- Analyze problems and propose solutions related to funding and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS + 6 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience with California state funding programs.
- Deep understanding of public-school facility program regulations and public construction requirements.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with coding concepts and database structures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Solid excel and spreadsheet experience
