Description The Associate II, Regulatory Deposit Services and Reporting processes specific banking transactions in a timely and complete manner through a variety of complex technology systems. This position proactively conducts quality control measures (QC) on assigned processes. This position also responds to member and employee inquiries on a timely and accurate basis. The Associate II consistently evaluates transactions for critical risk including approval/limit requirements and fraud, reporting internally or contacting the member as appropriate.Primary Responsibilities:Process a high volume of regulatory banking transaction, including IRA transactions, tax corrections, government reporting and deposit account maintenance in an efficient and accurate manner with minimal management oversight Navigate a variety of complex technology systems with various processing functions and deadlines, meeting department Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Respond timely and accurately to member and internal partner inquiries by phone, email or mailManage and properly store comprehensive up to date records of member communication, correspondence, activities and transactionsWork extensively with members and internal partners to research and resolve member, vendor and internal issues throughout day and adjust tasks and priorities as appropriate (e.g.: Customer Information Profile (CIP), etc.), escalating any potential problems to leadership and/or Senior Associate(s) as requiredSupport Senior Associates in processing specific regulatory activities, including Escheatment, Tax Identification Maintenance, deceased estate and probate account maintenance, IRA management, garnishments/levies and tax reportingIdentify and communicate process improvement ideas to Senior Associates and LeadershipTrack and validate transactional reports for accuracy and collaborate with Senior Associates and leadership regarding results and themesPerform member outreach and provide training to other AssociatesExperience and Education Requirement: Minimum Education: High School Diploma with some post-secondary education preferredMinimum 2 years' experience in data entry/analysis and customer service Ability to effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, autonomously handling a variety of responsibilities in a complex environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines without sacrificing qualityProven ability to professionally handle sensitive documents Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction Familiarity with governmental banking regulatory reporting activities is preferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteLocation: Hillsboro Corporate Office - Hillsboro, OR 97124Target Compensation for Hillsboro, OR: $23.56 - $27.40 per hour + annual bonusBenefits options include:Traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage401K matching up to 5% per pay periodAccrue up to 17 days of Paid Time Off your first year of employment11 paid federal holidaysSpecial employee pricing on lending products such as mortgage, auto, and personal loans (eligibility for special employee pricing is subject to standard account requirements and underwriting criteria)What makes First Tech different?
