Description The Relationship Banker processes routine financial transactions for members in the Branch, as well as follow up activities by phone and email. The Relationship Banker is focused on building strong relationships with new and existing members.Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:Job dutiesProcess routine financial transactions for members quickly and accurately (including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments and cashier's checks), in compliance with regulations and guidelinesEstablish and maintain member deposit and loan accountsProvide the highest quality of service to all members; promptly address member concerns and/or escalate to leadership when appropriateEngage with members to understand needs and recommend financial solutions that best fit their goals, based on First Tech's suite of product offeringsParticipate in campaigns, cross-selling and making referrals when appropriate using the online tracking and CRM systemsPerform account maintenance activities including updating member contact and personal informationPerform follow-up activities and outbound calls for new and existing membersPartner with other business units in sales and service activities, as appropriateEssential skillsPrior experience in retail sales or service; financial services experience preferredExcellent listening skills with the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objectionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logicallyDemonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environmentAbility to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy and serviceStrong critical thinking and decision-making skills with attention to detailWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteHigh School Diploma or equivalentLocation: State Street Experience Center - Salem, OR 97301Target Compensation in Salem, OR:$20.50 to 24.75 per hour + monthly incentiveBenefits options include:Traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage401K matching up to 5% per pay periodAccrue up to 17 days of Paid Time Off your first year of employment11 paid federal holidaysSpecial employee pricing on lending products such as mortgage, auto, and personal loans (eligibility for special employee pricing is subject to standard account requirements and underwriting criteria)What makes First Tech different?
