Together we are building a better world so we can all enjoy living in it.Role Definition Supports electrical process maintenance activities in a manufacturing setting and leads electrical projects when assigned.Responsibilities Performing or assisting in routine maintenance or construction work.Serving as first line of support for advanced electrical problems and work requests.Assisting and supporting manufacturing and other related departments.Mentoring and developing new electrical technicians within the maintenance department.Requirements:Degree: Electrical Engineering or equivalent experienceAccuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Also the ability to collaborate with multiple functional groupsProblem Solving: Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan organize monitor and control projects ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches tools and techniques; ability to anticipate recognize and resolve technical issues on hardware software application or operation.Top Candidates will also have: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint Excel and PowerBI)Expertise working with Allen Bradley and/or SiemensExperience troubleshooting advanced electrical problems of heavy industrial machinery (primarily foundry or machining equipment)Additional Information:This position is located in Mapleton IL.This a 2nd shift position. 2nd shift is Monday-Friday 3-11PM.The off-shift position is eligible for a 7% night shift premium.Travel Requirements: 0-10% (or 1-2 times per year domestically).Please ensure you frequently sign in to your candidate home for any updates or correspondence for positions that you have applied for.
