Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) processLead / participate in Incident Investigation ensuring the end-to-end process is considered (including job planning preparation and execution) when determining incident root cause(s) alongside appropriate corrective actionsFocuses on preventing failures during the lifecycle management of a product or service through active monitoring and corrective action planningSupports job planning and preparation by participating in Risk Assessment / deviation waiver / Management of Change (RA / DWR/ MOC) and deployment readiness assessment processes (DRA)Participates in the engineering design review processExecute the key steps outlined within the Field Incident Management Process (FIMP).Manage the FRACAS DMAIC stagesApply root cause analysis (RCA) processesDevelop and review cause mapsFacilitate or lead incident investigationsDevelops RCA reports and technical or field bulletinsFacilitate or lead incident review and corrective action boardsIdentify FRACAS trends to identify and prioritize failure modes to investigate for corrective actionsAnalyze performance data and monitor performanceIdentify and report performance trendsDevelop and report key performance indicators as neededShare lessons learned with the field populationCollaborates across reliability engineering community to facilitate knowledge transferActs as a subject matter expert for respective area to service delivery and supply chain functionsSupport new product development in all aspects relevant to reliability engineering through direct liaison with engineering and the deploying regionOther PL Specifics responsibilitiesHandles special projects as requiredQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree in science technology engineering or mathematicsExcellent leadership strong interpersonal influencing and planning skills.Ability to work in a global matrix organizationUnderstanding of the Service Delivery process and the technical nature of the businessDESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:Preferred prior experience includes roles such as: Field Engineer/Specialist or Remote Professional product development applications engineer AMO engineer or other technical disciplinesExcellent analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Facilitation and presentation skills.Ability to work and communicate well with others.Must be able to effectively communicate in English.Previous experience in presenting detailed and technical information preferred.Project Management Skills.Advanced problem solving skills with respect to Applied Engineering Design and Technology Development.Strong Six-Sigma DMAIC process and business intelligence knowledge.Self-contained self-motivated and structured approach to work within a global interdisciplinary team under limited supervisionA strong commitment to learning.Reports To: Service Delivery Technical ManagerWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone this role we can offer the following flexible working patterns:Starting early / finishing earlyStarting late / finishing lateFlexibility within the day or week to get the job doneWorking with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
