Role: Reltio MDM Consultant (Senior Developer & SME). Location: North Chicago IL (Remote). Duration: Long Term Contract. Role and Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a skilled team comprising Reltio IDMC Snowflake and Python professionals acting as the Senior Developer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Reltio MDM. Provide hands-on support during onsite hours on Reltio (primary) with secondary proficiency in IDMC and Snowflake directly assisting business users and resolving incidents efficiently. Manage incident lifecycle: prioritize conduct initial analysis suggest workarounds perform detailed root cause analysis and coordinate with upstream and downstream teams to resolve issues expeditiously. Estimate effort for new enhancements and independently handle minor enhancement projects including requirement analysis design documentation development unit testing and deployment (under 40 person-hours). Generate ad hoc reports from the MDM system in response to business demands. Resolve issues tied to inbound/outbound MDM and ETL production jobs ensuring operational continuity. Demonstrate deep technical expertise in Reltio product configuration (UI JSON RDM APIs workflows) batch and real-time integrations data load and publishing mechanisms. Write custom Java code for JSON data processing validations and business logic implementations within Reltio. Utilize strong database knowledge and SQL skills to support outbound integrations and reporting. Prioritize working independently with minimal supervision while fostering teamwork and effective communication across technical and business stakeholders. Exhibit expert-level understanding of data architecture integration techniques and data governance principles. Apply strong problem-solving skills and multitasking capabilities in dynamic cross-functional settings. Preferred Domain Experience & Skills: At least 5 years of direct hands-on experience in Reltio MDM design development support and operations. Experience or familiarity with the Life Sciences or Healthcare domain especially around Health Care Professionals data is a plus. Knowledge of industry-specific data sources such as Veeva OpenData and MedPro enriches candidate suitability. Proficiency in Core and Advanced Java including web services development. Prior experience working with Reltio product integrations (batch and realtime) and technical configuration.
