Serve and maintain food quantities for large numbers of people Assist with general cleaning chores in the dining area and kitchenSet up, break down and maintain independent serveriesProvide assistance with catered functionsProvide guidance to student employeesBe well groomed and wear the proper issued uniformAssist with stocking as requestedParticipate in training, as well as other departmental function requirementsOther duties as requestedTypical QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience: Six months culinary experience preferredAbility to operate and maintain production equipmentBasic knife skills, and the ability to grill, sauté, roast, broil, and fry foodKnowledge of proper/safe time and temperature for food handlingAbility to operate small kitchen equipment, including Robo-coup, mandolin, mixers, emersion blenders, potato peeler, etc.Must have good customer service skillsAbility to work well independently as well as within a teamServe-Safe Certified, or the ability to become certifiedMust have non-slip shoes to be worn daily Supplemental InformationHUSSON UNIVERSITY IS AN EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER**Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.**#NT
