Remote Data Analyst (Entry Level) at Henry Hire
Job Description
Henry Hire is developing a browser-based simulation tool that mimics real-world work tasks, and we need a contract data analyst to shape the core logic and user challenges.
You’ll work directly with the procedural data engineer and front-end development team to build tasks that involve data cleaning, querying, and business interpretation. You’ll also collaborate with the UX designer to make sure each task is clear, approachable, and realistically challenging for beginners.
What You’ll Do
Design realistic analysis scenarios: cleaning messy data, writing SQL, interpreting business metrics.
Define sample answers, scoring logic, and edge cases for grading.
Review simulation builds and offer feedback to improve realism and educational value.
Ideal Candidate
Innovative with a solid understanding of basic day-to-day data analysis tasks
Proficient with SQL, Excel, dashboards, and storytelling with data.
Great at thinking like a learner: what’s confusing, what’s teachable, and what’s job-relevant.
Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team in a remote or work from home environment
Bonus: L&D or course design experience.
Contract Duration: 6 months
