For more information please visit .We are seeking an entry level Production Operatorto join our Ethanol production team. Training is provided!This facility operates 24x7 and works 2 shifts per day (7:00 - 7:00 each.)Dailyschedule includes weekendwork on a rotating schedule. Shift assignment will be consistent but may not be permanent so candidates must be able to work either day or night shift based on business shift assignment receives $2.00 shift differential.Click here to explore a day in the life of an Ethanol Production Operator as described by one of our current employees.Position SummaryThis position is responsible for the daily plant operation functions associated with the production of fuel ethanol and associated co-products.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform processing functions in the cook distillation energy center and/or distributed control system (DCS) areas of ethanol production with assistancePerform activities relating to processing functions such as corn grinding and cook operations yeast and fermentation quality control yeast distillation evaporation dryer and boiler operationsMonitor production processes and adjust equipment settings or raw materials inputs as directed to ensure the optimal efficiency in the production processPerform general product sampling lab testing document results and report findings to crew leadership and/or laboratory personnelMaintain documentation and record key production data as directedOperate various types of mobile equipmentPerform general housekeeping tasksWhat is expected of you and others at this levelHas basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational processWorks within clearly defined standard operations procedures and or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelinesWorks with close supervisionEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred0-2 years relevant experience requiredBasic computer operation and data entry skillsAbility to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid drivers license preferredPrevious production experience preferredPhysical Requirements and Working EnvironmentWork is performed in a 24x7 Ethanol production facilityProduction team works 12-hour shifts; two small crews scheduled per day includes a day and night shift.Work schedule includes weekend and holiday work. Shift assignment will be consistent. Must be flexible to work either day or night shift based on business needs.
