Job Description SummaryThe Repair Engineer will support GE Vernovas customers by establishing internal processes required to enable high quality products monitoring the results of those processes with internal and external customers determining root cause of any non-conformances and implementing corrective actions.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:Define and control production processes including tooling and equipment.Validate design specifications and shop floor applications for new products tools or equipment.Utilize technical knowledge and analytical thinking to execute policy and strategy.Propose solutions for complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and interdependent production cycles.Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and lead small projects with low risks.Support lean manufacturing transformation and maintain process documentation for consistent quality.Document technical data to substantiate components assemblies and systems per quality policies.Work with operations and engineering teams to address nonconforming material and devise remediation actions.Conduct training on quality assurance concepts and tools.Required QualificationsBachelors degree from an accredited university or college with 2 years of experience in manufacturing quality or production(or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing quality or production)Desired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsAbility to document plan market and execute programsExperience in qualityCustomer support (especially in a repair environment)This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
