Providing requirements analysis and assessment support, the incumbent will enable the coordination, integration, and prioritization of capability development efforts to rapidly deliver joint operational projects through integrated project delivery.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The Requirements Analyst will be responsible for:Working directly with the government lead to ensure all deliverables are identified, developed and delivered on scheduleProactively engaging with customers and stakeholders to analyze and refine information needed to develop program and system requirementsCollecting and analyzing requirements data to synthesize and recommend solutionsAssistingwith authoring reports and recommendationsDelivering artifacts that support establishment and execution of formal programs of record subject to the DoD 5000 series acquisition policies.Acting as the project expert regarding requirements elicitation, requirements analysis and management, documenting requirements for iterative development, and the communication of business needsUnderstanding the current state of the client organization while at the same time, tracking to the vision of where the customer wants to be (as is/to be)Identifying business needs and/or inefficiencies and defining solutions that meet needs, goals, or objectivesContinual assessment of industry capabilities and best practices/solutions to ensure currency/relevancy of requirements generation supportPerforming other duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience in requirements generation and administrationALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTIONS:Bachelors Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Masters Degree.Experience in JCIDS or SOFCIDS requirements generation processes and POM processes (preferably experienced with the Navy).Experience with review and quality assurance of DOD compliance policies, procedures, regulatory guideline, and acquisition documents.Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) I completeExperience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) Echelon II, III, or IV staff.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:JPME II certification preferred.N8 experience preferred.DAWIA certification (or equivalent) in Program Management, Engineering and Technical Management, Test and Evaluation or LifecycleLogisticsExperience in expeditionary operationsABSI Aerospace & Defense is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind: ABSI is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
