Are you ready to make a direct impact on operational-level decision-making within the Marine CorpsWe are seeking a skilled Requirements and Program Analyst to join the MARCENT team where youll play a critical role in shaping requirements strategies and priorities that support deployed forces across the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside senior planners and leaders contribute to high-level councils such as the Marine Requirements Oversight Council (MROC) and help close capability gaps that directly affect mission success. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment excel at research and analysis and want to support the Marine Corps at the strategic level we want to hear from you.Primary Responsibilities:Provide program analysis services to process emerging requirements in support of deployed forces at the operational levelAssist planners with staffing development and recommendations of MARCENT positions to COMUSMARCENT in support of MROC and MRB processesSupport the development of the MARCENT Integrated Priority List (IPL) by researching and analyzing theater capability gaps and identifying potential resources to mitigate riskPrepare assessments information papers and briefs; coordinate across staff sections and action officers to support the Commanders participation in MROC deliberationsContribute to the development of MARCENT strategy policy campaign plans posture plans programs requirements decision papers assessments presentations and other staffing requirements for a service component headquartersParticipate in and support internal MARCENT working groups as required.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree with 4 years of relevant experience or High School diploma/GED with 10 years of experienceActive DoD Secret clearanceMinimum 3 years of experience serving on a Marine Forces (MARFOR) or Combatant Command-level staffStrong understanding of Componency including the relationships between MARCENT CENTCOM and HQMC staffsPreferred Qualifications:In-depth knowledge of Headquarters Marine Corps requirements process including the Marine Requirements Oversight Council (MROC)Strong understanding of U.S. Central Command requirements process including the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC)At least 3 years of experience in a requirements and programs role at a Combatant Command Component Command or Service HeadquartersEIO2024If youre looking for comfort keep scrolling.
