Job Description

DescriptionThe position involves research and administrative responsibilities. Under a principal investigators or postdocs mentorship the candidate will conduct independent collaborative research involving in vitro cell culture and fundamental cellular and molecular biology techniques such as Q-PCR western blot immunohistochemistry and in vivo animal work. Administrative duties include (but are not limited to) maintenance of lab inventories and instruments ordering lab supplies and attending lab meetings.ResponsibilitiesPerform cell culture and basic cell biology techniques such as Q-PCR western blot immunohistochemistry etc. Experience in vivo mouse models would be a plus.Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks update protocols and participate in lab meetings and appropriate scientific meetings.Assist lab members in preparing grants manuscripts and animal protocols.Helps order lab chemicals maintain lab instruments and support research projects.Oversee the training of new/junior summer students in the lab.QualificationsBS MS in Biology or related fields or MDNon-Bargaining Unit 844 - Ophthalmology - ISM Icahn School of Medicine Key Skills Marketing & Promotions,Attorney At Law,Jni,Airlines,Art Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Monthly Salary Salary: 16 - 22
