Job Title :Research AssistantPosition Type:StudentDivision:Academic AffairsDepartment:Physical TherapyJob Description:Assist faculty in the collection and evaluation of research data and other projects;Knowledge about the current research methodologies and statistical techniques;Ability to work independently, as well as in a team;Ability to think logically, rationally and creatively;Skilled in oral and written communication; skilled in interpersonal relations;Review of project documents (notes, schedules, etc.) for research purposes;Conducting literature reviews, analysis of survey data, and synthesize and summarize results from qualitative and quantitative analysis;Performs other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Regular admission into an ASU graduate degree or certification program is required.All graduate students who are awarded assistantships must be enrolled in graduate coursework during the terms of their appointments.Experience:Academic and/or work experience related to the field of research, as defined by the supervisor/lead researcher;Experience with specialized software or datasets, as required by the supervisor.Salary:$1,639 total compensation for the contract periodEEO Statement:All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to sex, race, color, national origin, religion, age, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
