This role involves working on a project concerning fractional edge decompositions of graphs addressing well-studied open problems and exploring related variants and special cases. The project is led by Daniel Horsley (Monash University) Darryn Bryant Barbara Maenhaut (University of Queensland) and Peter Dukes (University of Victoria).Key Responsibilities:Conduct independent and collaborative research in edge decomposition of graphs fractional structures in graphsWork on well-studied open problems investigate variants or special cases and explore new related research directionsContribute to the publication of research findings in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedingsParticipate in seminars workshops and conferences related to combinatorics and graph theoryThe successful candidate will hold a PhD in Mathematics or a closely related discipline with a strong background in edge decomposition of graphs or fractional structures in graphs.
